patch to send output to a different directory

Hello,

I recently added a small (linux only?) patch to ticket
https://svn.ufz.de/ogs/ticket/11 , loosely based on rev7511, to send
output to a directory specified on the command line, i.e.:

path/to/ogs -o OUTPUT_DIR myModel

Norihiro,

(I hope you don't mind that I have copied this to the mailing list.)

  > Hi Myles, Thank you for your patch. I think it is useful.

You are welcome. It is probably the most useful thing I have done so
far and makes ogs much easier (for me) to work with. I have added
a second patch to the ticket too.

Says patches here:

I don't expect anything. I have not applied it to the trunk for several
other reasons: it is a new feature and so was proposed on the mailing
list first where it received no feedback, I wouldn't be able to test it
on Windows, Mac etc, updating my work to the tip of the trunk is too
difficult and not worthwhile and I should be able to finish my PhD
without upgrading again.

Feel free to apply it yourself if you want to though.

Hi Myles,

I see. It's ok if you don't expect someone merging the patch to trunk. Although it's written in the rule, unfortunately I've found it doesn't work.

I'll let you know if I find any problems in the patch.

Kind regards,
Norihiro
