$PERMEABILITY_FUNCTION_STRAIN

Jhonny, I'm forwarding this to the users mailing list because the question is not related with the development.

Dear Developers and Users,

I am modelling a HDR reservoir and I need to establish a function
permeability-strain. In the OGS page there is something explained about
the topic, but there is no explanation about the type of curves
implemented in the OGS. I am clear that there are 4 cases and each one
needs a curve number to be specified. Can somebody give me some clues
about this tool. I will be very glad.

Hello

Yes, I have gone through this page; however, an additional curve value is needed. I may use any value and try to see what happens, but it would be useful to know what kind of curves are actually implemented in the OGS. For example, I a want use the case 1, but I don’t know what is the suitable curve number “For case ‘1’ one additional parameter value (curve number) is required. The curve defines the relationship between relative permeability and volumetric strain.

Let me know you opinion. Thanks

Hi,

Curves should be given in *.rfd file. Have a look at the following pages

https://svn.ufz.de/ogs/wiki/public/doc-auto/by_ext/rfd
https://svn.ufz.de/ogs/browser/trunk/benchmarks/T/1d_thermal_expansion/exp1.rfd

best,
nori
