I am new to OGS and trying to determine whether the workflow I have in mind is supported before investing more time into the software.
I want to simulate two-phase flow in a porous medium (supercritical CO2 injection into a saline aquifer). I would like PHREEQC to handle the solubility of CO2 in brine (i.e., phase mass transfer and aqueous speciation). Is it possible for PHREEQC to compute CO2 dissolution in the brine and then pass the updated aqueous component concentrations back to OGS for the reactive transport step? If so, does the coupling account for the change in the composition of each phase resulting from the mass transfer computed by PHREEQC?
If this workflow is supported, could you point me to the relevant OGS features or example problems?
