Happy Valentine's Day

Hi all,

I did a variable density simulation using RICHARDS_FLOW and MASS_TRANSPORT. The OGS version 5.6 shows

For process: RICHARDS_FLOW
No time control for this process.
Number of non-converged iterations: 0
Number of stagnated iterations: 20

For process: MASS_TRANSPORT
No time control for this process.

···

GetRFProcessProcessingAndActivation - to be removed

^O^: Your simulation is terminated normally ^O^
Simulation time: 86s

Does the stagnated iterations: 20 mean that something wrong with the parameters? I would appreciate if you can take a look at the input files at https://dx.doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.2070145, though the simulation result looks okay (http://americangeophysicalunion.tumblr.com/post/138666618953/hey-everyone-i-did-a-modeling-study-of)

Best,

Xuan

'stagnated iterations' means the number of diverged in linearisation but acceptable time steps.

Hi Wenqing,
Should we try to avoid it by modify numerical parameters, Or it is okay?

You can try by changing numerical setting and time step size,
