Help with file formats

Hello,

I am having troubles using the new OGS version.

  1. When I try to upload some shape files, what coordinate system fits best for the software?
  2. Raster data such as .tif is not being read on OGS and when converted to .asc, after generating a mesh of the shapefiles, when editing the layer to add surface and subsurface layer, software crashes or turn NO results.
  3. After practicing with the Tutorial I files, once generated the mesh, the option “Convert to Geometry” is not appearing! What should I do?

I know my questions are not 100%, but if someone is helping a bit, I can give more details. I need help ASAP since I have try everything and nothing works.
