I’m comparing Fig. 9 in Grunwald et al. (2022) (Liakopoulos test) with the results shown in the OGS benchmark notebook/page for the Liakopoulos case.
In particular, the vertical displacement profile differs noticeably: not only the magnitude, but the curvature appears inverted relative to the paper figure.
Could someone clarify whether:
- The benchmark notebook/page is intended to reproduce Fig. 9 exactly, or if it uses a different configuration/variant (e.g., different initial/boundary conditions, output times, sign convention, or plotted quantity)?
- There were changes in the setup since the paper (material laws, parameters, output selection, etc.) that explain the discrepancy?
