Liquid_Flow: Storage, Specific Yield, and Unconfined/Confined Aquifers

Hello,
I’m learning how to use OGS6 and trying to create a simple Liquid_Flow simulation. However, while reviewing the benchmarks, I’m having trouble understanding the Storage parameter.

From what I understand, it’s different from the specific storage defined as Ss=ρg(α+nβ), but can it be calculated from that by simply removing the density and gravity terms, correct?

Also, if I set up a head-based simulation (by turning off gravity and setting both ρ and viscosity to 1), does the formula for Storage need to be adjusted accordingly?

Furthermore, if I model an unconfined aquifer (I assume this means setting the permeability according to Dupuit assumptions), does the Storage value change due to the influence of specific yield? if not, how do i introduce the specific yield to the simulation?

Sorry for all the questions, and thank you in advance!

Where:
ρ: density of water
g: gravitational acceleration
α: aquifer compressibility
n: total porosity
β: compressibility of water

Concerning the storage, I think this should be clear from the referenced PDF of the Liquid_Flow documentation page: https://www.opengeosys.org/docs/processes/liquid-flow/liquidflow/
