Project file, 2D to 3D setting, slope stbility

Dear OGS community,

I am trying to do a slope stability analysis using my own 3D model and found a related benchmark on the website:

Strength reduction for slope stability

This is, however, a 2d example. I wanted to use the benchmark’s project file for starters and do some test runs.
For this objective, the easiest way was to modify the project file of this 2D benchmark example for a 3D model.
Does anyone have experience with modifying a 2D example’s project file to suit a 3D model? which parts should be modified?

Hi!
Well the most important thing is the mesh/geometry of course, so you would need to perform at least an extrusion.
Concerning the project file, the body vector ->3D, IC-Paramenter: displacement0 ->3D,
process_variable->displacement->components: 3
And finally the boundary conditions need to adjusted accordingly.
