hello every one,
I would be using open geosys for my graduate studies research work. I am new to open geosys.
Can Open Geosys model the thawing of permafrost? i.e. to couple the heat transfer(climate warming) , stresses from the infrastructure on permafrost and groundwater flow due to thawing of permafrost?

Hi,
currently there's no such feature but we're already working on the implementation of coupled freezing/thawing models in soil. I cannot give you any specific time line, though. If you need it urgently for your current work you would have to implement a suitable model yourself.
Kind regards,
Thomas

Hello,
I would be working on a similar problem statement for modelling permafrosts. Please let me know of any research articles/information regarding the same.
Thank you.
